|"Grief Splattered Canvas" is a short film noir. Presented in black and white, it pays homage to the classic detective pictures of the 40s and 50s, with an aesthetically modern twist.
The story follows an ex-vigilante struggling to grieve as his wife's murderer lures him back to the violent life from which she saved him.
The film was the product of a successful online crowdfunding campaign via Kickstarter.
The screenplay was written specifically for a group of actors from the FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training, one of the top ten acting programs in the United States.
